This second semi-final had its ups and downs. All the bad news of positive corona tests didn’t make it easier for all the participating artists and delegations. Only 10 songs made it to the final, that means that for seven artists or groups the Eurovision journey is over now: Estonia, Czech Republic, Austria, Poland, Georgia, Latvia and Denmark.
These are 10 finalists from tonight’s show:
- Albania (1st half)
- Serbia (1st half)
- Bulgaria (2nd half)
- Moldova (2nd half)
- Portugal (1st half)
- Iceland (1st half)
- San Marino (2nd half)
- Switzerland (1st half)
- Greece (1st half)
- Finland (2nd half)
The surprise of the night: Moldova and San Marino made it into the Grand Final, while Denmark and Austria could not qualify. But it’s all a matter of taste, there will tears on both sides.
The running order of the Grand Final will be revealed later tonight.

About me:
As one of the founders of eurovisionlive.com I am responsible for the interviews with the singers and the editorial content. My passion for the Eurovision Song Contest exists since my early childhood. The exotic music, different cultures and languages have given a lot of inspiration to me. Since my very first ESC in Dublin 1994 I particularly appreciate the get together and friendship of all the nationalities and Riverdance was a thrill!
