The Mamas have also been part of last year’s Swedish entry, when John Lundvik could achieve a fabulous 6th place with “Too Late For Love” . The majority of the points came from the juries and not from the public voting.
Robin Bengtsson has represented Sweden back in 2017 with “I Can’t Go On” , he made a 5th place in Kiev. One year before he entered the Melodifestivalen with “Constellation Prize” but could not win the Swedish Final.
Mariette Hanson had various appearances in the Melodifestivalen: 2015 with “Don’t Stop Believing” , 2017 with “A Million Years” and 2018 with “For You” .
Anna Bergendahl has already represented Sweden in Oslo 2010 with “This Is My Life” and could not achieve the Grand Final. This was the first and only time Sweden has not been in the Grand Final of a Eurovision Song Contest. Anna has tried it again in 2019 with “Ashes To Ashes” . This year it will be her third attempt.
In the “Andra Chansen” show, also called 2nd chance show, there has been a great medley of popular Melodifestivalen entries with many well-known singers like Kikki Danielsson, Tomas Ledin, Alcazar, Björn Skifs, Loreen and many more – they all will have a special place in the “Hall Of Fame”. Let’s hope there will be something like this in the final as well.
