IntroductionLike last year there has been a national final in Moldova. The Moldovan broadcaster TRM has hosted a high quality show. The winner of the night was one of the most recognized singers of Moldova Cristina Scarlat, with which she will represent Moldova at the 59th Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen. Cristina was born in 1981 in a family where music traditions have been of a high importance. Cristina studied the violin and the piano and graduated at the Moldovan music conservatory. She appeared in several festivals also as a lead singer in the Presidential orchestra. She has been declared as one of the most powerful voices of Moldova. Due to the fact that she has two children she is combining family and career in a healthy balance. Cristiana’s biggest dream was to represent Moldova in the Eurovision Song Contest. She already had an attempt in 2013 where she reached the second place. The song “Wild Soul” is a strong pop song with a great rhythm and Cristina’s voice is utilized to the best result. The really good made video clip can only be a first snapshot of what we can expect from the stage performance in Copenhagen. This might be one of the strongest songs from Moldavia for years. Due to the fact that Moldova almost always make it into the Grand Final this entry will have the less hurdles to take.
