 One of the newer members of the Eurovision family is Bulgaria. This year it’s going to be the 5th time to watch Bulgaria on a Eurovision stage. The popularity of the contest has increased a lot. Due to the new and fresh energy Bulgaria still has it’s probably more open to extravagant and extraordinary musical attempts. Everybody remembers well the percussion duo from 2007 with “Water” which reached number 5 in the final. That’s remarkable.
This year there will be another fresh and positive entry from Bulgaria. The singer Krassimir has won the Bulgarian predecision clearly and convinced with his tremendous show and unique voice volume even with high tones.
The song itself is a dramatic pop song with opera elements. Nothing really special, but judging by the video clip the producers gave the whole production a note of knight game, which is quite suitable for the song. How all this will be performed within three minutes on stage in Moscow – this is the big question. And not to forget Mrs. Ernman from Sweden with her opera act. |
