Participant(s): Gerli PADAR |
Estonia is one of the newer countries in the Eurovision Song Contest, but a very successful one, too! In 2001, Tanel Padar & Dave Benton won surprisingly with “Everybody”. With that victory Estonia had the privilege of hosting the Eurovision for the first time in a Baltic country. This year Tanel’s sister Gerli is going to give it another try. Her song is called “Partners in crime” and it shows another time the great variety of music in Estonia. It’s not the typical “Happy sound”, it’s a bit more mature and rocky. Even though, in the hard competition of this year’s semifinal with 28 countries, it’s will certainly not be an easy task to qualify. |
