For many year Eurovision fans hoped to have the Czech Republic within the Eurovision family. As Slovakia has already participated several times with great artists, it was to be expected the same from the Czech Republic. The Czech band Kabat is real rock band. Eurovision has always been open for all kinds of music. But rock music is not the kind of music the Eurovision Song Contest stands for. To make Eurovision a Rock contest is certainly not the future. Lordi’s “Hard Rock Hallelujah” an extraordinary exception with a unique style and the performance stands for its own. |
