This year it doesn't look better. The nil point candidate this year is Lithuania! The song "We are the winners" has won clearly in the predecision. Everybody with a normal taste of music will notice that this song sounds banal and obtrusive and doesn't suit in the Eurovision Song Contest at all. Such entries will be sentenced by the viewers in utmost hardest way - 0 points. Sorry Lithuania |
The Lithuanians are having a kind of backlog demand concerning the Eurovision Song Contest. The two Baltic neighbour countries Estonia and Latvia have already won and hosted the event in Tallinn and Riga very successfully. There hasn't been a lack of good Lithuanian entries in the last years, but even though the entries went down and haven't been recognized in a proper way. Since the new double show concept Lithuania has never made into the final.
