The Icelanders are disappointed. They have send really good songs to Eurovision recently and due to the unfair voting from the Eastern European countries Iceland was not voted in a fair way. That's a real pity, especially with Selma's smash hit "If I had your love". She could not even qualify for the final, but Croatia and Macedonia did. The most disappointed person was Selma herself on her way back to Reykjavik, as well as Jonsi in the year before.

But this year there is something different coming from Iceland: a 'Cyndie Lauper-Look-And-Sing-A-Like' - Silvía Nótt. She is going to sing a kind of cult song totally in 80's style. Those who can remember the UK entry from 1984 "Love Games" by Belle & The Devotions will notice the similarity. This song is not as good as the song from last year, but with a shrill and extraordinary presentation Sylvía could make the crowd go wild.
