Greece has made it! The Greeks were always so keen to win the Eurovision, but never hit the European taste of music. Nevertheless, Helena Paparizou changed that with a finger snip and she is the new queen in her country. The brought back victory and pride. After winning the European soccer championship, hosting the Olympic Games Greece is going to be in world's focus of interest. The host country often gets many gratitude votes for being a good host. If the host country is also having a good song the votes will flowing. Although there will be singing one the most popular Greek singers - Anna Vissi. She is well known abroad and she has already been number one with "Call me" in the US-Billboard charts! She has also been at Eurovision twice: 1980 with "Autostop" (13th) for Greece and in 1982 with "Mono I agapi" for Cyprus (5th). The style of her last records was mainly danceable disco music. Surprisingly she is going to sing a ballad called "Everything" which does not suit to the motto of this year's contest "Feel the rhythm". The advantage of playing at home and her name of recognition will safe her one of the top positions. Good luck Greece.
