What's up with France? It used to be the Grande Nation of chanson with unbeatable songs. France always used to be among the favourites. The last victory is 29 years ago! In the 90's France had a kind of revival with cool and exotic songs and singers. French contributions were strong and competitors were scared of having a chance at all. But recently the enthusiasm has gone and the results are terrible. Thus you can't expect anything big from France this year. The song animated to fall asleep - and unfortunately France is disappearing from Eurovision. Very sad!
