Participant(s): Laura and the Lovers Song: Little by little Writer(s): Billy Butt Composer(s): Bobby Ljunggren |
Although fairly new to the Contest, the Baltic countries have already been quite successfully - Estonia and Latvia could even win the contest. Unfortunately - their southern neigbour Lithuania has not been that successfully so far - their best result being a 13th place with "You Got Style" sung by Skamp in Copenhagen 2001. In 1994 when Lithuania had it's debut at Eurovision the singer Ovidijus Vysniauskas received not even a single point with "Lopisine Mylimaj ". Last years entry "What happened to your love" could not reach the final in Istanbul. This year it looks quite promising for Lithuania. Laura and the Lovers is the name of the group and they are going to sing the song "Little by Little". This is real Scandinavian popmusic, which can be played on the radio and has the chances to get a real hit in Europe. No wonder, the composer Bobby Ljunggren is Swedish. The song has a good rhythm and a catchy melody and is already one of the top-favorites in the semifinal. It's probably the "Once in a lifetime" song from 2005! Good Luck Lithuania! |
