This years singer Martin Vucic is going to sing a quite fast song "Make my day" - it reminds us a bit of "Shake it" from Sakis. And there are many songs this year which have folkloristic elements and Macedonia tries to combine a dance song with these typcial sounds of the country. |
For the fifth time FYROM / Macedonia takes part in the Eurovision Song Contest. As a former yugolav republic this country tries to define a new unique sound from Macedonia. The entries of the recent years showed this new direction in a very positive way. Unfortunately not many countries voted for Macedonia. Last years singer Tose Proseki could get 14th in the Final of Istanbul. Rumors say that this was only possible though the help of other Eastern European countries.
