Participant: Linas & Simona Song: What happened to your love Writer(s): Camden MS Composer(s): Michalis Antonio, Linas Adomaitis |
Although fairly new to the Contest the Baltic countries have already been very successful winning the Eurovision twice. They have added many ideas and fresh new songs to the Contest, which match the European taste in music very well. Unfortunately Lithuania wasn't quite that successful so far - their best result being a 13th place with "You Got Style" sung by Skamp in Copenhagen 2001. Lithuania appears in the Contest for the 5th time now. There have been more than 70 songs which were sent to the national final in Vilnius. Linas Adomaitis and Simona Jakubenaite managed to leave the favourites, Amberlife, behind them with the song "What's Happened To Your Love?". It's a quiet song from Lithuania - will Europe honour this with many points? They already participated with a dreamy number in the final - remember Ovidijus Vysniauskas singing "Lopisine Mylimaj"? Unfortunately their debut ended up last 1994 in Dublin with those famous 'Nil Points' |
