One of the most successful countries in the Eurovision Song Contest is Sweden. The Swedes always shaping up quite well and it is the most popular shows in the Swedish television. They have been four times on the first rank: with ABBA, the Herrey's, Carola and Charlotte Nilsson. This year the Swedes try to show again that Sweden is the new land of pop music. The group "Afro-Dite" consits of three attractive ladies, who doesn't look Swedish at all, but they are more Swedish than you may think! They all collected different exeperience in the music scene in Sweden. The composer and author Marcos Ubeda has already written the winning song from 1999 "Take me to your heaven". So this year he could take the crown of Eurovision back to Sweden. Sweden belongs to the favourites this year - beside of Germany, United Kingdom and France. The overwhelming show on the stage is prediceted to shape up well. The three-dimensional stage shows an oversized dicso-bullet, this perfectly suits to the glittering dresses Afro-Dite are going to wear on Saturday night. |
