Participant: Sandrine Francois Song: Il faut du temps Writer(s): Patrick Bruel & Marie-Florence Gros Composer(s): Patrick Bruel & Rick Allison |
One of the most important music markets in Europe is France. And a lot of French stars did already take part at the Grand Prix d'Eurovision de la Chanson f.e. France Gall, Marie Myriam or Nathash St. Pier. France received the crown of Eurovision already five times, but the last win was in 1977. This year France has really great chances to win. Sandrine Francois - a Parisian singer will present a phenomanal romantic ballad "Il faut du temps" (It takes time), which has a political theme involved. It's about the peace in the world: "Mais de milliers de voix, le crieront avec moi" (But thousand of voices will cry out with me). France always sends ballads to Eurovision, but this year the ballads are the minority. During the rehearsals Sandrine has prooved, how wonderful her hymn of peace enchanted the audience. Sandrine - a 22 years old singer, is quite new in the music business. Believe it or not, she has never had any singing lessons! Since her appearance at Mirelle Dumas' "La vie a l'endroit" she became popular and significated contracts with music producers. La France douze points! |
