Macedonia is one of the youngest members of the exclusive club of Eurovision. It is a great aim - especially for Eastern European countries - to represent their country as best as possible. Macedonia's debut was in 1998 and the best rank was the 15th in Stockholm 2000. It is one of the few countries, which use their native language.

This year the 22 years old Karolina from the little Balcan state will sing a song for Eurovision. Her song called "Od nas zavisi" (It depends on us") which is a quite extraordinary and exotic song. At the very moment she is the most popular singer in her country. Her singles "I've got a song" and "Why the dream has an end" were a big success already. All of you, who ever had the chance to watch MTV India know, how much enthusiasm and creativity in dance and expression they have - and the Macedonian entry is quite comparable with these kind of song played in India.

Karolina was very nervous during the first rehearsal on Monday, but everything went quite well. She is very pretty and looks a little bit like the Greek singer Elina Konstantopoulou, who sang in Dublin 1995.

"It depends on us" is a very extraordinary song and it could shape up very good on Saturday!
