The Internet-Favorite this year is Slovenia! Nusa Derenda is the singer for Slovenia. In her past she attended a choir and a music school and also plays the accor. She intended to become a teacher. Since 1990 she is touring with her band through Germany, Switzerland and Slovenia. 1999 she recorded her first CD-single “Take me, Wind” and won the first prize in the Slovenian TV.

Her performance on stage with her song “Energy” is quite extraordinary. In the interlude in the song, which is accompanied by a wild played piano she is carried by her background-dancers. She looks like a death person – there are flashes on stage. Her dress and her whole appearance is just spectacular and interesting – it’s just porn!

The style of her powerful song combined with her strong voice sounds a little bit like some Finnish entries in former years. She could be the surprise of the evening! Nusa is very impulsive and spontaneous and she can start to “jodel” if she likes to. We say: Slovenia 12 points for the best show!
