Participant: Antique Song: Die for you Writer(s): Antonis Pappas Composer(s): Nicos Terzis |
For the very first time Greece is having a real up-to-date song, which is already a smash-hit in the European radio stations. Despite of typical Greek music elements, this song is for everybody’s ears. The chances to win for Greece with the group “Antique” have never been that high. Elena and Nikos were born in Greece, but grew up in Gothenburg (Sweden) and belong to the Greek community of the town. In other words – it’s the second Swedish contribution in Copenhagen! The song “Die for you” convinced the audience in the Parken Arena during the rehearsals as well as they will do it on the live-transmission on Saturday night. The singers learned to play the bozouki and Greek folklore. The most interesting thing is the combination of Greek-Mediterranean lifestyle with Scandinavian dance- and pop-music. The 12 points from Sweden are for sure! |
