Participant: Tanel Padar & Dave Benton |
There is always fresh air coming from the Eastern Euorpean countries into Eurovision. As well as this year from Estonia. The Estonian contributions are always western orientated, modern, joyful and have American influences. The Baltic countries do have a lot of advantages of the new regularities concerning the singing-language – they are choosing English! The Duo Tanel Padar & Dave Benton will represent Estonia this year with a lively summer-melody called “Everybody”. Tanel got his experiences in several Estonian bands, last year in Stockholm he accompanied Ines with “Once In A Lifetime” as a background-singer – they got fourth! Dave is originally from Aruba and he still has a lot of problems with the difficult Estonian language. He already has been on tour as a drummer and background-singer with Tom Jones, Billy Ocean and The Drifters. We are sure that this funny looking duo will bring a good atmosphere in the Parken Arena. |
